The adults in our adult horsemanship class range in age from 20- 76 yrs old. Some of them are new to riding and others are coming back to it after years off. We focus the first 30 minutes on learning a skill ie bandaging to taking a bridle apart and putting it back together. We then spend an hour riding. They have been known to linger a lot longer. (as late as 2:30) Riding, laughing and bonding with one another.

  • Saturday morning 10:30 - 12:00 year round

Both sessions run in weather fair or foul. Lots of fun learning and community.  Call Ro for Day and Time.

Riding Time

The after-school kids program has become very popular. The kids help with the evening chores as well as ride. If the weather is not condusive to riding, each child has their own folder that contains diagrams of horses, various tack etc and then questions for them to answer after studying the diagrams.

Games

We play games (hands- on and board games), make horse treats and have many other horse related activities that are focussed on the kids learning about horse-care, anatomy and basic horsemanship.
